Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te is enthralled. Additionally, she's a talented professional model as well as a dancer. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. Since her early years she's been learned a range different styles of dancing. In her 15th year, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained notoriety in 2008 when she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season. This is which is a Univision beauty contest series. In an episode from Telemundo's Telenovela Aurora, she played a receptionist. In 2015 she starred in her debut feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
