Ayanna Pressley and Ayaka Konno

Ayanna Pressley is a woman who has multiple skills. She's an activist, an advocate and an expert on the subject of the field of policy. Ayanna was the first African-American woman elected to Congress for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts when she was elected seventh Congressional District Representative on Nov. 6th, 2018. Ayanna thinks that people who have suffered the most pain in their lives should be in the top positions of influence. Ayanna was educated in the home of Sandra Pressley, a tenant's rights activist who taught her civic engagement. Ayanna was raised to be aware of how government can help lift up families and communities, due to the activism of her mother.
