Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was who was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish origin. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County to California when she was seven years old. Here, they did not have electricity. Ryder who loved reading when she was 12 became a book worm because Ryder had no access to television. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was twelve years old. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986, and Ryder who was just 15 years old, was offered the role of a leading actress. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. She hoped that her career in acting would change the way she dealt with bullying. However, it didn't happen. Still she continued pursuing her dreams. Her breakthrough came with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder continued playing parts that proved successful in various films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
