Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothing However A Number debuted in 1994. In the age group of 15, the album achieved Gold status. The group was heavily in the style of R. Kelly, and helped put her onto the scene. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri as well as Timbaland on her album, One In A Million, featuring the number one hit track If Your Girl Only knew. With the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention as an R&B performer. She was a part of martial arts legend Jet Li in the 2000 romantic-action movie Romeo Must Die. She employs Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar for her official name. While she started out in film and TV with a few minor parts, her acting career started to gain momentum in the mid-2000s. Other than The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). She's also appeared in major commercials featuring brands like Volvo, an international auto maker. Her home is with her family in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
